Hi to all Croco community and thank you for the great model.
My group in SINTEF Ocean, Climate and environment department has decided to use Croco for our needs, and we are currently learning it.
I want to use ROMS files generated by the Norwegian Meteorological Office to force a selected high resolution region but if I understood correctly there is no script currently to reformat ROMS to Croco format (before the interpolation to grid step). On the other hand taking into account the Croco origins from ROMS it may not be so complex to create one.
Any suggestions where to start? I have noticed that there is the Croco_pytools external scripts collection which includes the py_roms2roms.py script. Is this script a good starting point for reformating to Croco 1.2.1 latest version? Any other options?
