Size limit for clm file?

Hi all,

I am using the crocotools routine to create 3D clm file for a simulation. When I call the create_climfile.m routine with a high resolution I got an error message from the netcdf package (in crocotools also) saying “Could not open file” and the clm file is not created. If I lower the resolution (therefore less grid points in my domain), it is working well. Is there a limit on the size of the clm file?

Hi Bertrand,
Yes I think you are facing this limitation. So you should prefe the bry files.
