I know that it’s straightforward to set up a sponge layer at the lateral boundaries, but is it possible for the bottom of the domain (i.e., vertical boundary)? I am running some idealized simulations for the surface boundary layer turbulence and would like to prevent internal waves in the stratified interior from reflecting at the bottom.
