Hi All,
I can see in the CROCO code that OBC_PATM adds the inverse barometer effect at the boundary. This would suggest that OBC_PATM should be switched off if the forcing model at the boundary includes the inverse barometer effect (which is true for the CMEMS MY model in my case, for example).
So, is it appropriate to define READ_PATM so the inverse barometer effect is calculated and included within the model domain, but to undef OBC_PATM to avoid double inverse barometer effect at the boundary?
Thanks,
Joe
