Max number of nested domains?

Is there a maximum number of nested, telescopic, domains using AGRIF?

I am running a case with two nested domains croco_grd.nc, croco_grd.nc.1, and croco_grd.nc.2 and it runs ok but
with a third domain, croco_grd.nc.3 it simply stops. Not much of a clue where is the error.
