Hi, would it be possible to provide an update on the status of the FLOATS module? I know that historically it was implemented, but did not work in MPI configuration. I saw that in a recent update, @Rachid removed the FLOATS CPP key. Does this mean there is now no online Lagrangian function in CROCO?
Hi, indeed the FLOATS CPP key was no longer maintained and has been removed from the master branch for the next release.
Another tool with Lagrangian capabilities (parallelized with MPI) is available in the dev_2025_FOIL branch, but this work is still under development. No calendar for integration into a future release is available at the moment.
As soon as we have more information, we will let you know.
