ONLINE and AGRIF?

I am creating the forcing files for a nested run using the croco_pytools. I can create the nested grid and the nested initial file.

When the parent domain was run alone, I used the ONLINE option, but it seems to fail with a nested domain. Is it possible to use it? Perhaps I configured something wrong.

If this is not the case, is there a python tool to create bulk files from ERA5, for both parent and child domain?

Hi Andres,

I am currently running a simulation with Agrif (one child domain) and online forcing and it seems to be working fine (where boundary conditions have been elaborated using the pytools).

Do you have more details on how it fails ? Do you want that we compare some config files ?

Hi Enzo,

You are correct, it does work. I problably had configured incorrectly the croco.in.1 file. This is good news.

I have it working just fine with ONLINE and AGRIF 2 way so it is possible out of the box.
