Different output frequency for different variables [closed]

Is it possible to set a different output frequency for different (averaged) variables? I would like to have a daily output frequency for most variables, but a 2-hourly output frequency for u,v,w terms. I believe that this is possible if I instead used the averaged variables for u,v,w only and the history variables for everything else (because you can separately define output frequency for history and averaged variables), but it is possible to define this on a per-variable basis?
